Airport Transfers: Please note: Pick up from Leh airport is at 11:00 AM on 17th June and drop to the Leh airport on 23rd June is at 8:00 AM. Please book your flights accordingly or speak to the Roaming Clan team to suggest you the appropriate flight options.

There are no individual pick up and drops. Your airport transfers will be clubbed with other roamers travelling with you on this trip. This might result in some wait at the airport while pickup and an early drop at the airport while leaving Ladakh. If you want an individual pickup, let us know and we will arrange a private taxi for you. Price for that will be on the actual basis and you can pay the amount directly to the driver.

Physical Level: While the tour itself is not very strenuous, please note that it can involve the following: somewhat long days, a good amount of walking, long journeys by private vehicle, early morning wake-ups and other similarly challenging scenarios.

Subject to Change: Please keep in mind that the above itinerary and activities are subject to change. Travel sometimes involves unexpected situations so things might need to be re-arranged at times. However, it is important to remember that travel is all about the journey, and so even the unexpected situations we may face should be treated as part of the overall experience!

Accommodation: Prices are based on the sharing of rooms and single members of the group will typically be put together. We will be using guest houses and Swiss tents/camps that offer comfortable facilities. While we always do our best to secure as many rooms with separate beds as possible, sometimes two members of the group might have to share a large bed. But that’s all part of the adventure and we guarantee we’ll have a blast anyway.

Day 1: Leh

Pick up from the airport. Steep Mountains, pristine lakes, colourful Tibetan monasteries, a vibrant culture and the rugged terrain await you. You have rest of the day at leisure to acclimatise yourself to the high altitude of Ladakh. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.

Day 2: Leh: Thiksey, Shey, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa

After breakfast we head to visit the oldest monastery in Ladakh- Thiksey Monastery and then Shey Palace. Mostly made of mud or wood, it has zero signs of grandeur or luxury just like any other palace in Ladakh. Before Leh, Shey used to be the capital of Ladakh. After Shey, lets head to Shanti stupa followed by old and beautiful Leh palace.

Day 3: Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (5602 Mt)

Nubra is a high altitude cold desert, the land of sand dunes and two humped  bactrian camels. This day we will cross the world’s highest motor able pass- Khardungla. Overnight stay at Samoor in Swiss tents.

Day 4: Samoor to Pangong Lake

Pangong Lake- where the famous 3 Idiots movie was filmed- is a high grassland lake at a height of 4350 Mt and extends from India to China. You can see China from the Indian side of this lake. This lake freezes completely during winters. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 5: Pangong to Leh via Changla Pass

This day we go back to Leh via Changla Pass. Changla Pass is the third highest motor able road in the world. A quiet and serene pathway takes you through sometimes steep and winding roads of the hills.

Day 6: Leh- local sight seeing

Visit Magnetic Hill, Hall of fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and Confluence of Zanskar and Indus river. This is almost a spiritual sight where two completely different coloured entities merge together and yet remain separate and choose to flow harmoniously in a common direction. The difference in colours of the waters of the two merging rivers is interesting to see.

Day 7: Drop to the Airport

This is the last day of our Ladakh group tour. Time to bid adieu. With truckload of awesome memories to relish for the rest of our lives, today we say goodbye to Leh. Check out from the guest house and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

End of this memorable tour.
